A Ready-Made 1:87 / HO Artitec US HMMWV Camo Armored GW MP finished in a three-color woodland camouflage scheme with Military Police markings. This model represents an armored HMMWV fitted with a roof-mounted grenade launcher, giving it the look of a heavily equipped patrol, security, or convoy escort vehicle.

The model includes an enclosed armored body, roof hatch and weapon station, long whip antenna, front brush guard, clear window glazing, detailed wheels, printed Military Police markings, and small front and rear identification plates. The HMMWV, officially the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, entered U.S. military service in the 1980s and became one of the most recognizable American military vehicles of the late Cold War and post-Cold War period. Its adaptable design allowed it to serve in many roles, including transport, command, communications, reconnaissance, weapons carrier, ambulance, and security duties.

Military Police units used HMMWVs for base patrols, convoy escort, traffic control, checkpoint operations, and route security. Armored versions offered better crew protection than soft-top utility variants, making them more suitable for missions where vehicles might be exposed to small arms fire or other threats.

A roof-mounted Mk 19 automatic grenade launcher gave HMMWV crews additional firepower for convoy protection, perimeter defense, and security operations. Combined with the HMMWV’s mobility and versatility, armed Military Police variants were well suited for protecting installations, routes, and military columns.
