Model Overview
This ready-made Artitec model reproduces a German Wehrmacht StuG III Ausf. G assault gun in a heavily weathered three-color camouflage finish. Its low fixed superstructure carries the long-barreled 7.5 cm StuK 40 L/48 gun, while the roof features an armored commander’s cupola with open hatch, a shielded machine-gun position, additional open roof fittings, and two tall radio antennas. Full Schürzen side armor protects the upper running gear, and authentic German crosses and unit markings complement the muted dark-yellow, green, and red-brown camouflage.
Fine exterior details include spare track sections mounted beside the gun and across the lower front hull, tow cables, towing eyes, exterior tools, equipment boxes, and a spare road wheel. The rear deck is loaded with tarps, bags, containers, and other field equipment. Its Panzer III-derived running gear includes six road wheels and three return rollers on each side, front drive sprockets, rear idlers, and finely reproduced tracks. Fading, dust, grime, worn edges, track discoloration, and restrained rust create a convincing field-used appearance.

About Artitec Ready-Made Models
Artitec's Ready-Made models are handcrafted from high-quality resin and produced in limited runs. Each model is expertly preassembled, hand-painted, and often subtly weathered to recreate the appearance of a real vehicle in use. Because every model is finished by hand, small variations may occur, making each piece unique.
Artitec uses vacuum-cast resin to reproduce exceptionally fine, true-to-scale details that can be difficult to achieve with conventional manufacturing methods. Etched-brass parts are added where appropriate to capture delicate components and further enhance realism.
Each model is assembled, painted, and weathered by skilled specialists—a process requiring considerable time, precision, and experience. Artitec Ready-Made models are ideal for collectors seeking exceptional detail and realism without the time and effort required to build and finish a model kit.
